HP Envy 17 menggunakan Intel Core i7-720QM 1,66 GHz lebih lambat dari Quad Core Intel tetapi masih cepat dari Dual Core Intel :ibingung Ditanamkan VGA AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5850 yang cukup kuat sebagai standar Graphics Card untuk kelas notebook :$ Ditambah ruang penyimpanan yang lega dengan adanya 500GB 7200 rpm HardDisk dari Seagate ;) Memorinya 4GB DIMM DDR3 tunggal yang bisa di upgrade menjadi 8GB. Juga ada Optical Drive Blue-Ray Reader/DVD+/-RW serta port USB 3.0 dan eSATA.
